Tamela’s life was rich in passion and experience. She found great joy in riding motorcycles, making the annual pilgrimage to the motorcycle rodeo in Chillicothe for 17 consecutive years—a testament to her bold and adventurous spirit. At home, her hands were rarely still; she enjoyed quilting and crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that warmed both bodies and hearts. Her love for gardening reflected her appreciation of nature’s calm beauty, and she took solace in her time spent outdoors. Tamela also delighted in finding hidden treasures at yard sales and flea markets.
A lover of stories, Tamela enjoyed watching horror movies—especially those penned by Stephen King. Her vibrant and curious personality shone through her wide variety of interests, touching everyone around her.
Above all, Tamela considered her greatest accomplishment to be her family. She took immense pride in her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and cherished every moment she spent surrounded by those she loved most. The time she shared with her family was the greatest gift she gave and received.
