Vonna Kay McCarty, 56, of Washington Court House passed away November 22, 2023, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Vonna was born July 23, 1971, in Hillsboro, Ohio. She was a 1989 graduate of Fairfield High School. Vonna loved her family deeply. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ellen Faye (Hopkins) Cundiff, and by her husband Delmar E. McCarty, and a mother-in-law, Erma McCarty.
Vonna is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Daniel) Fitzpatrick, her grandchildren, Brooklynn and Hanna Fitzpatrick, and by sisters, Bonnie (Jeff) Smith, Rose (Jeff) Shoemaker, Charlotte (Tony) Roberts, and April (Sam) Mitsui, and by brothers, Jeffrey (Jessica) Waulk and Rex (Shawnda) Cundiff, and by many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time.
