Wallace Edward Napier Sr. , age 65, of Washington C.H. passed at his home on the morning of February 8, 2017 with his loving family at his side.
Ed was born February 2, 1953 in San Francisco, California to the late William and Virginia Day Napier. He was a member of the Clinton Massie High School Class of 1971. Ed was a tool and die maker by trade. After working for 21 years at the Randall Company and 11 years at TI Automotive, Ed joined the staff at Wilmington Precision for 12 years, until he was forced to retire for health reasons. In his spare time Ed enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. He also loved whisking his wife off for the spontaneous day trip from time to time.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah (Boysel) Napier, whom he married May 31, 1975; children, Dallas Napier, Wendee Napier (Rich Drain) of Columbus, Wallace E. (Ashley) Napier Jr and Harmonee Napier both of WCH; grandchildren Connor and Avery Napier; brothers, Roger Napier of IN and Brian (Debbie) Napier of Blanchester; and a sister, June (Ron) Clark of New Burlington. He also leaves many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A service is planned for 6pm on Monday February 12, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home in WCH with Pastor Keith Clary officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 3pm until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place at a later date.
