Beverly Hawkins Obituary

Beverly Kay Hawkins, 72, of Washington Court House passed away peacefully at her home on September 19, 2023.

Beverly was born October 10, 1950, in Greenfield, Ohio to Walter and Francis (Newlan) Welch. She was a gifted Tole Painter, and enjoyed reading and drawing. She was also an excellent baker and would invite her grandchildren to assist her in the kitchen.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, an infant child, and by a son-in-law, Brian Bennett.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Russell Hawkins, whom she married June 12, 1971, a daughter, Rusti Bennett of WCH, grandchildren, Whitney (John) Shiltz of WCH and Dalton (Tori) Hawkins of London, and her great grandchildren, Kinzley, Bentley, Harry, Weston, JJ, Alivia, Natalie, Ryleigh, and Gracelyn. She also leaves behind her mother and two sisters.

A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Mark Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11am until the start of the service.
