Boyd Monroe Wilson, 77, of Washington CH passed away on September 13, 2021, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center following a brief illness.
Boyd was born May 15, 1944, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky to the late Oscar and Zona (Hart) Wilson. He graduated from Sandy Hook in 1960. Boyd worked as a press operator at Mac Tools for 32 years before his retirement. Boyd enjoyed his time socializing with the McDonald’s breakfast group.
Along with his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wilson in 2013 and their son, David in 2009, and a brother Jr.
He is survived by his children; John (Joni) Wilson, Marvin (Sarah) Wilson, and Pamela Wilson (Roger Dean); grandchildren, Kyley, Cassie, Kaitlyn, Cara, Ashlynn, Leah, Eliza, David, Danni, Carrie and Delta; great grandchildren, Aralynn, Ashton, Brayden, Evie, Tye, Tori, Blake, Brody, Devon, Marina, Klayton, Aryanna, Ellie, Eric, Richard, and another soon to arrive; brothers, Bill (Shirley) Wilson and Woodrow (Diane) Wilson. He also leaves behind his many friends.
A funeral will be held at 11am on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday the 19th from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
