Debra Kathrine Harter, 65, of Washington CH gained her heavenly wings on December 24, 2021, at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
Debbie was born November 12, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Russell and Phyllis (Brown) Harter. She was a member of the Unity Fellowship Church, where she assisted with the Children’s Church program. She was a thrift store regular, always looking for the deals she couldn’t pass up. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tish Hughes, brothers, Anthony (Infant) and Bobiejo Harter, and sisters, Sheilan Russell, InaIee McRobie, Melody Maag, and Talea Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dewayne Marker whom she married February 28, 1998; her children, Don (Jo) Knisley of South Salem, Pauline (Rodney) Knisley and Tina Knisley (Joe Marshall) all of Washington CH; grandchildren; Shelby Knisley, Donald Knisley II, Elainie (Dylan) Havens, Dewayne Knisley, Dakota Knisley, Debra Smith-Merz, Cody (Leah) Seitz, Tamika (Chris) West, Shana Lyons, Ocean Marshall; many great grandkids; sisters, Elizabeth (Hank) Adkins and Kimberly Harter; as well as, her nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends.
A service is planned for 11am on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH with pastor Keith Clary officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29th from 5 to 8pm.
