Obituary

James Michael Steiner, 72, of Washington Court House passed away on November 2, 2022, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Jim was born December 11, 1949, in Jamestown, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Lois (Summers) Steiner. Following high school Jim entered the United States Marine Corps. During his enlistment he attained the rank of Lance Corporal. Prior to his retirement Jim had worked many years for the Ahresty Wilmington Corporation in the shipping department. Jim was a member of the American Legion Post 25 in Washington C.H. and currently held the position as 1st Vice Commander at the post. Jim was a true mustang enthusiast, having owned and worked on many throughout the years. He was respected and often sought out to answer questions, provide advice, of find parts for other mustang owners. His generosity and willingness to help others in need was unmatched. But most importantly Jim was the ultimate family man and an amazing father and grandfather.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Steiner.

Surviving are his wife, the former Susan Lynn Brown, his daughters, Jamie Steiner (Tara Smith) and Kimberly Steiner, and his grandchildren, Zachary and Kayla Sizemore. He also leaves his sisters, Dolores (Jim) Klontz, Debby (Steve) Thacker, and Aletha (Mike) Blackburn, a brother, Phil (Barb) Steiner, and his many friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal service at this time. A celebration of life will take place in the future at the convenience of the family.
