Kevin Ray Haithcock

Kevin Ray Haithcock, Sr. ,40, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on April 23, 2022.

Kevin Ray was born May 11, 1981, in Washington Court House, Ohio. He was a 2000 graduate of Hillsboro High School where he ran track and loved basketball. Following graduation, Kevin enlisted in the United States Army, where he served three years in the infantry division. He enjoyed rapping, listening to music, laughing, and spending time with his beloved family and friends. Kevin loved his children with all his heart. He also had a special love and bond with his mother, leading many to consider him a mommas boy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Maggie Burns, Sr. and James and Donna Jean Haithcock, Sr.; brothers, Nevin Anthony Jemsion and Chad Lette.

Kevin Ray is survived by Mother, Kimberle (Haithcock) Zimmerman, with whom he shared a special bond; Father Kevin Ray Burns; Wife and mother of his daughter, Vanna Haithcock; daughter, Hazel Raylee Kimberly Haithcock; sons, Kevin Ray Haithcock, Jr. and Jesus Smooth McKinley Haithcock; brothers, Brad (Pauline) Haithcock of Hillsboro, Carman (Amanda) Haithcock of Ashland, Derrik R. Haithcock of Hillsboro, Keith Givens and Seira Givens both of Pittsburgh; sisters, Sky Jemsion and Star Jemsion both of Gallipolis; honorable brothers, Arron Riley and Anthony Beverly; special uncle, Ruffin Haithcock; as well as, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including nephews Cain, Cam, and Ty Ty Haithcock, and nieces Kiki and Jayla Haithcock

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Alonzo Thomas of the Masterline Youth Ministries, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11am until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery with pallbearers; Brad Haithcock, Carman Haithcock, Derrik Haithcock, Ty ty Haithcock, Camron Haithcock, and Arron Riley.
