Larry Smith Obituary

Larry Hiatt Smith, 75, Passed away July 31, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Larry was born in Clarksville to the late Hubert Sr. and Helen (Ater) Smith. He lived most of his life in this area. Larry was a proud US Marine veteran. Following his service, he returned to the area where he ran a successful concessionaire business, operating booths and games for area fairs and festivals.

Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by sisters, Doris Secrest and Karen Whaley, and brothers, Hubert Jr., and Mark Smith.

Survivors include his long-time companion Caren Moore, his stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and his many friends.

Honoring his wish’s, cremation will take place with no formal services planned at this time. Roberts Funeral Home is caring for the family.
