Linda Lou (Scaffide) Danko, 72, of Washington Court House died Wednesday, September 21, 2022, following a long battle with cancer.
She was born June 14, 1950, in Newark, Ohio to the late Joseph and Eloise Phyllis (Sweeney) Scaffide. Linda was a fun-loving person who enjoyed living life by spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. She loved attending outings of family and friends, listening to music and playing her solitaire games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Pamela Sue Scaffide, sister, Alberta “Penny” Friestad, and by grandchildren, Natisha and Kaden Hughes.
Surviving are her husband of nearly 50 years, Michael David Danko; children, Dawnanna (Scott) McDonald, Jo Lynn (Don) Knisley, Angela Campbell, Keith Danko, Ashley (Pearl) Fox, and Michael T. Danko; grandchildren, Danielle (Dustin) Antritt, Hollyann (Alex) Martin, Scotty McDonald, Cody (Leah) Seitz, Tamika (Chris) West, Elaine (Dylan) Havens, Shelby Knisley (Jaimie Cottrill), Donald S. Knisley II, Keionnae Hughes, Kaylin Hughes, Kyle Hughes, Kyler Noel, Kiera Arrowood, Keirstine Arrowood, Krista Arrowood, Cajun Crawford, Seth Crawford, Michael S. Danko; as well as, many great grandchildren and her many friends, including special friend Bernice Grooms and her family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednersday, September 28th from 5-8pm.
