Linda Lee (Hamilton) West

Linda Lee (Hamilton) West passed from this life to her eternal home on September 4, 2021 in Lancaster, Ohio at the age of 80. Linda’s passing was peaceful with her daughter at her side.

Linda was born on June 11, 1941 in Washington CH, Ohio. She had attended Jeffersonville and Washington Senior High Schools. Linda worked for her mother at the M&M Restaurant and NCR Factory, before finishing her working career at Calmar Manufacturing, where she retired after over 30 years of service. At Calmar she worked in the molding and quality control areas. She had attended Bible Baptist Temple. Linda enjoyed gardening and nature and spent countless hours sitting in her all-seasons room watching the squirrels, bunnies and birds feeding and playing outside. She would even watch her tv programs there.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Hamilton; her mother and stepfather, Mary and Marion “Mac” McCoy; husband, Ron West in 2015; an infant daughter, Mary Margaret Riley; brother, Willard McCoy; and her pet dog, Mickey.

Surviving to honor her legacy are her daughter, Dawn (Mark) Reynolds of Lancaster; stepson, Ron (Becky) West of WCH; grandchildren, Cody and Brooke Reynolds, Chris and Mike West, and Brian Thornhill; several great-grandchildren; and brother and sisters-in-law, Charles (Carol) West, Mary Ingram, and Pam Kilgore. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and her many special friends, including her canine companion, Teddy.

A service is planned at 11am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Lyn Jackson, retired pastor at the Bible Baptist Temple, officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 9^th from 5pm until 7pm.
