Michelle Joann (Shafer) Perrill

Michelle Joann (Shafer) Perrill, 56, of Jeffersonville passed away October 1, 2023, at the OSU Medical Center following an extended illness.

Michelle was born July 14, 1967, in Salem, Ohio to the late Leman Shafer and Patricia (Holzer) Wilkins. She was a member of the Miami Trace High School Class of 1986. Michelle had worked for many years as a dispatcher and manager for various EMS agencies. Michele was a strong-willed person who lived life to the fullest and she did it on her terms. She will leave an obvious void in the lives of all who loved her.

Michelle is survived by her husband, David Perrill, whom she married October 18, 1997; her children, Kassi Robinette, Meghan Robinette (Travis Horn), Kenneth Perrill, and Caleb Boysel (Sierra Coe); grandchildren, Kaiden Rummer, Karssie Mae Robinette, Camdyn McKnight, Jase McKnight, Gracelyn Horn, Braelyn Boysel, Kaizlee Michelle Neukirchner; and her siblings, Cindy Jones, Tom Shafer, Lee Shafer, and Tammy Everhart. She also leaves behind, extended family and her many friends.

A service is planned for 7pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5pm until the start of service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the James Cancer Hospital in her memory.
