Patricia “Patti” Ann Miller of New Holland passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 70.
Patti was born in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Daryl and Edna “Kate” (Smith) Hamby. She was a 1970 graduate of Washington Senior High School. Patti worked a short time at Greenfield Precision Plastics before beginning a 24-year career with Mac Tools (Assembly Dept) in Washington Court House. While there she enjoyed being part of a bowling team for several years. Following the closing of Mac Tools, she began working for the Franklin County Municipal Court Probation Department. Over the next 24 years she was a respected Administrative Support Officer with the department. Patti had previously dedicated countless hours teaching Youth Sunday School and contributing to Vacation Bible Schools at the New Holland Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed cooking and baking, working on various crafts, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife and mother.
Along with her parents, Patti was preceded in death by two children, Travis Vaughn and Tami Jo Miller, and a brother, Junior Hamby.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Ted, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage; her daughter, Angel Miller of New Holland; 2 brothers; 1 sister, cousins and many friends.
She also leaves special friend Mike Hodge, special friends and neighbors, Cody and Deanne Kirkpatrick, and her canine companion, Katie.
A funeral service is planned for 1pm on Saturday, July 24th at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11am until the start of the service.
