Pearl Wayne Mootispaw, 70, of Washington CH entered through the gates of Heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Mount Carmel Medical Center.
Pearl was born on July 20, 1948 in Ross County, Ohio to the late George and Lola (Mick) Mootispaw and had lived his whole life in this area. He was a skilled welder and had worked building and installing chain link fence for many years. He was a member of the Sabina Church of Christ and Christian Union, and his life was in good order with the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Naomi Francis; children, Anthony Mootispaw and Kirk (Laura) Mootispaw both of Greenfield and Stayce (Bobby) Ault and Wade (Angel) Mootispaw of Washington CH; grandchildren, Chris Everetts, Kylie Ault, Brittany Everetts, Curtis, Caleb, Micah, and Lindsey Mootispaw; great grandchildren, Cylas, Tharen, Kayson, Jakob, Joey and Mae Leah; and a sister, Alice (Larry) Johnson of Oak Hill. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of friends, including his K-9 companion, Puppy.
A funeral service is planned at 11am on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH with Pastor John Laufer officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 19 from 5pm to 8pm.
