Sarah Jane (Bennett) Seitz

Sarah Jane (Bennett) Seitz, 78, of Bloomingburg passed July 26, 2023, following a prolonged illness.

Jane was born January 11, 1945, in Bloomingburg, Ohio to the late Thurman and Reba (Mossbarger) Bennett. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Tony and David Seitz, and by brothers, Eddie and Bill Bennett.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Dale) Lower of Bloomingburg; grandchildren, David (Melissa) Seitz, Kenny Lower (Kimmy Glispie), Sarah (Storm) Ratliff, Josh (Bridget) Seitz, Heather (Ashton) Motts, and Kylee Seitz (Brendan Parrish); 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen (J.D.) Short, Brenda (Verlon) Tyree; brother, James Bennett; and her many extended family and friends.

A funeral is planned for 1pm on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloomingburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11am until the start of the service.
