Ted E Metz

Ted E Metz, 66, of Jeffersonville passed unexpectedly August 5, 2023.

Ted was born November 11, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Mary Lou (Hawker) Metz. He had been a hard worker all his life. He worked as a Union Carpenter until his retirement, then took on a farming job working for a family friend. Ted was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a family man and enjoyed time spent with them as much as possible and playing cards. 

Ted is survived by his daughters, Valerie (Jason) Havens of WCH and Lacie Jane Metz of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Haylee, Liam, Allie, and Frankie Havens; sisters, Sandy Crawford, and Carol Metz; brother, Bill Metz, long-time companion, Marcia Maurer; and his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will take place with a celebration of life to be held at the Shawnee Hills Community Center on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 1pm to 5pm.
