Tomi Kay (Williams) Shaw passed peacefully at her home on August 15, 2021 with family at her side. She was 52.
Tomi Kay of Washington Court House (WCH) was born on September 13, 1968 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Thomas and Betty (Martin) Williams. She was a member of the Miami Trace High School graduating class of 1986. Tomi Kay worked in registration and medical records at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for 25 years. During that time she made such an impact with her warm, caring spirit, and cheerful smile.
Survivors include her husband Troy, with whom she shared nearly 30 years of marriage; her children, Tyler (Amanda) Williams of Huntington, WV, Spencer (Penny) Shaw of WCH, Riley (Anna) Shaw of Independence, and Cameron Shaw (Sydnee Nott) of Columbus; grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Thomas, Charlee Kay, Frazier, and Franklin who is soon to arrive; sisters, Kristi Williams, Tonya (Bob) Maurer, Melody (John) Moon, and Mendy Short; brothers, Steve and Randy Williams; nieces and nephews, Jared and Brenden Watson, Meagan Coffman, Chelsie Baker, Seth Prickett, Paige Arutyunov, Mitchell Lindsey, and Hunter Short. She also leaves her many extended family members, treasured friends, and her beloved Mini Aussies, Pancake and Maci.
A memorial service is planned for 6pm on Thursday August 19, 2021 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington CH with Candy Pfeifer officiating. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday from 4pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Thomas P. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund, donations can be made by way of mail to The Thomas P. Williams Memorial Scholarship at 306 Highland Avenue, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
